This weekend, we officially entered a new 84-year cycle. Uranus, the planet of innovation, revolution, and technology, entered Gemini, the sign of ideas, information, and two-sidedness.

Uranus spends ~8 years in each sign. Uranus represents the future— whatever sign Uranus is in, we experience innovation, new ideas, and breakthroughs related to that sign. Gemini is endlessly curious and is information-seeking. While it’s known for being two-sided, Gemini is amazing at owning the “both and,” meaning two opposing ideas can both be true at once.

For that reason, Gemini is able to be unbiased and focus on the facts. It’s not too emotional and is always asking questions. If you ask Gemini a question, it will inevitably answer with another question right back at you.

While we got a preview of this transit in 2025, the last time Uranus moved through Gemini was 1941 to 1949. Astrology is about patterns, so to understand what this next 8-year period might bring, it helps to look back.
